After forty-five years of emigration to Canada, Aleksandar, on the day when his twin brother is killed in Skopje, he returns to Macedonia. His family is torn apart and he tries to put it back together. Arsen, his friend from childhood, will stand on the road that leads to happiness, because of whom Alexander had to flee from communist Yugoslavia as a seventeen-year-old teenager.
